Pikes Peak Adventure Jul 11 – Jul 15
Pikes Peak Adventure. The Long Way Adventures had a beautiful ride (for mental health awareness) through the Panhandle of Texas, the Northern New Mexico plains, and The Colorado Rocky Mountains as we rode approximately 1000 miles round trip to Pikes Peak. This 5 day 4 night event included hotel, meals, and a cooler of beer each night (after riding was done). Mark Pendley was our lucky winner!

Today's adventure is staying out of the way and watching horse insemination. Dr. Bridget is sick so I am her driver today. What an amazing person. Caring for horses when she feels like hell.

What a great adventure this week has been. I made several new buddies, got to see some amazing friends, wrecked Goldy (and didn't go to jail), won a few $$ at the worlds largest casino, had some great sushi. What more is there in life. When you have a passion for adventure life follows you. The axiety, depression, and stress of your former self just fades away. I hope you all have some amazing adventures this week, please feel free to post pics and video of your adventure. Most of my adventures are on motorcycles, but everyone is different; maybe your idea of an adventure is is bird watching, or fishing. To quote 'The Giant Heads' from "Rick 'n' Morty" "Show us what you got."

With age comes wisdom they say. Yesterday when I was had just turned into Lake Texoma, I was ran off the road and had to dump my bike; luckily it was at very low speed. The driver of the truck stopped and was laughing as he asked if I was ok. I brushed myself off checked my bike and rode off. Had this happened a few years ago I am sure there would have been a fight. Today I realize the laugh was probably nerves (I'm 6'4" 300Lb and scary looking to most strangers), he didn't have to stop, and no one is a perfect driver. Keep riding and finding new adventures. Keep the rubber side down.

This weeks adventure. Heading to see Johnny Roberts Dr.Bob and the Fortunate Sons play their set at Pelicans Landing. I should get there just in time.
